The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reported the arrest of four people on Saturday (1/30) at 3:22 a.m., following an investigation into narcotics being distributed at 12672 South Butler Road in the Town of Butler. The investigation revealed crack cocaine and powder cocaine being sold from the residence.
The Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at the residence. Four people were located inside the residence during the search, along with a large quantity of crack and powder cocaine, countless crack cocaine smoking utensils and marijuana. Numerous rifles, shotguns and handguns were seized also.
Arrested were, Jill A. Wood, age 37, of 12672 South Butler Road, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the seventh degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child; Jeremiah J. Colvin, age 31, of 110 Kittleberger Park in Webster, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the seventh degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child; Ronald A. Rose, age 59, of 12672 South Butler Road, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the seventh degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child; Kevin C. Manuel, age 31, of 182 Lincoln Street in Rochester, for two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the third degree.
Police reported that when they entered the residence, Rose was holding Wood’s infant son in one hand and had a gun on the couch on his other side.
All four subjects were arraigned in the Town of Butler Court before Justice Scott Stone and remanded to the Wayne County Jail in lieu of bail. Wood, Colvin and Rose were remanded on $500 cash/$1,000 bond. Manuel, who has numerous previous narcotic arrests and two previous felony narcotics convictions, was remanded on $25,000 cash/$50,000 bond.
The guns seized belonged to Rose and were permitted.
The investigation is ongoing and there are more charges are pending further inquiry.
