At least one person has died after a crash involving a car and a tractor trailer in Williamson Monday.
New York State Police said the crash happened around 12:40 p.m. on Rt. 104.
According to troopers, the driver of the car, Robert Hanson, age 51 of Middle Road in Sodus, was driving west on Rt. 104 near Townline Road, lost control of the car, and slid straight into the path of an oncoming tractor trailer.
The car collided head on with the tractor trailer. Hanson was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the tractor trailer has minor injuries and was transported to Strong Hospital.
Troopers said Rt. 104 was closed in both directions between Pound Road and Townhill Road in Williamson. Any witnesses are being asked to contact State Police at 315-589-8288
